On February 18, 2020 at 3:55pm EST, NASA’s Mars 2020 Rover (Perseverance) will land on Mars at Jezero Crater. It will be an exciting time for science! Please visit THIS LINK to learn more and also watch the landing festivities from JPL in California.
This fall’s Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on November 4 (4-7pm) and on November 5 (12-2:30pm).

Please bring all of these to class by Monday, September 28.
Each of the following items needs to be brought to class EVERYDAY. It is a classroom expectation that students arrive each day in uniform and prepared for class.
- Looseleaf Paper
- Pencil (I recommend mechanical pencils)
- Color-pencils and a hand-held pencil sharpener
- One – 2 pocket folder (black, this will be used for science handouts)
Also, students are asked to bring one of the following special items as able:
Box of Tissues
Package of Printer Paper
There will also be times when we are working on special projects where additional materials are requested.
Each student will have a school email account with access to iLearn & Google Classroom.
This year’s grading policy will be as follows:
- Test/Quizzes/Exams – 50%
- Projects/Labs – 30 %
- Class Participation – 10%
- Homework – 10%
Grades will be posted in PupilPath.
Please note: It may take up to ONE WEEK for grades to be posted.
